Biography:
Heavily influenced by a variety of music, P-E (Nicholas Phipps-Evans), an artist hailing from Fayetteville, NC, provides soundtracks for existence. Giving many different styles in his instrumentation and lyrics that complement his authentically different outlook on life and music, P-E offers music lovers everywhere a chance to relate with a fellow human being. Born in Myrtlebeach SC, P-E moved to Trinidad and Tobago as an infant. This is when the journey of music began. He learned how to play the steel pan and a variety of other different instruments. After moving back to the United States, specifically Washington DC, at 8, he continued to play music and learn about the art of sound. Growing up in many different places gave him the opportunity to learn more styles of music i.e., reggae, soca, calypso, rock, techno, dub step, and of course hip hop. This is evident in all the music that he provides.
