Name: David Blackmore
Biography: An award-campaigner, journalist, presenter and editor, I currently write for the Metro Newspaper and edit West Ham United magazine Blowing Bubbles. Trained at the TV Training Academy, I have appeared on BBC Look East, the Premier League Show on Sky Sports and Press TV as well as producing video reports for the Eastern Daily Press. I present my own show for Radio St Helier and can be heard on LBC on the Ian Payne show. I have also appeared on Radio 5 Live, the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio 2, BBC Surrey, BBC Radio Norfolk and KL.FM. My career in journalism began at the Dorking and Leatherhead Advertisers in 2007. I then joined the country’s biggest-selling regional morning newspaper, the Eastern Daily Press, in 2010 where I played a major role in a campaign which was awarded Community Campaign of the Year in the East of England EDF Energy Media Awards 2011. I then joined the Surrey Mirror series as News Editor in 2013 before joining Kingston University.
